– Install Oblivion Remastered from Steam
– Launch it.
If you don’t launch the game for its first time some files, to be modded, won’t exist.
2.0 Modding Tools

3.0 Foundation
OBLIVION REMASTERED SCRIPT EXTENDER
Mod Description: Framework used by other mods.
Note: OBSE64 plugins do not count towards Load Order limit.
Note: OBSE64 plugin Load Order does not matter.
Note: Once installed you will ALWAYS and ONLY launch the game from OBSE64 via the MO2 dropdown menu.
Note: Once installed launched the game. Push the tilde ( ~ ) key. Type GetOBSEVersion. If a version is returned
OBSE64 is working.
Note: Game updates may break OBSE64 and mods, requiring the OBSE64 developers to update it.
– From Main Files manually download OBSE64.
– Open the archive that is downloaded.
– In a second window open Steam\SteamApps\Common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64
– Extract the OBSE64 archive contents into the Win64 folder
– Open MO2. Select the dropdown menu next to RUN. OBSE64 will have been auto-detected and accessible from
here. If it wasn’t auto-detected…
– Modify Executables. Click the
symbol. Add from file…
– Open Steam\SteamApps\Common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64
– Double-click obse64_loader.exe
– Activate the Overwrite Steam AppID box. Add the number 2623190
– Apply. OK.
ADDRESS LIBRARY FOR OBSE PLUGINS
Mod Description: Allows OBSE plugins to be version independent.
Note: Game updates won’t break mods created by authors that utilize this.
– From Main Files download All in one – Address Library.
– Install to MO2 and activate.
Mod Description: Restores achievements when using Console Commands.
– From Main Files download Baka Achievement Enabler.
– Install to MO2 and activate.

Mod Description: Makes the compass and status icons smaller. Moves HP/Magicka /Stamina bars to the left.
– From Main Files download Better HUD Slim (Your Personal Monitor size).
– Install to MO2 and activate.
– From Optional Files download Even Samller Compass With No Text for Better HUD.
– Install to MO2 and activate.
– From Main Files download No Bars Fadeout Add-On.
– Install to MO2 and activate.
Mod Description: Replaces the infoboxes with cleaner versions.
– From Main Files download Better Infoboxes (Outlined No Prompt Smaller).
– Install to MO2 and activate.
Mod Description: Makes the reticle less intrusive.
– From Main Files download Smaller Dot Reticle for All Weapons.
– Install to MO2 and activate.
Mod Description: Replaces over 400 messagebox pop-ups with a message at the top left of the screen.
– From Optional Files download No Annoying Messages – Purist Version.
– Install to MO2 and activate.
Mod Description: Removes the hit marker ( x ) that sometimes appears.
– From Main Files download No Hit Marker.
– Install to MO2 and activate.
Mod Description: Removes all HUD vignettes.
– From Main Files download No Vignettes.
